Warrior Woman

Origin

Julia Koenig, a German woman living in Germany in the 1930’s hypnotized an American soldier into telling her the formula to the Super Soldier Serum that created Captain America. Reproducing it, she was accidentally transformed into a Nazi powerhouse.

Hitler saw the advantage of a strong Nazi woman and asked her to become his own sick twisted idea of a Nazi superhero, the Warrior Woman. Hitler also coerced her into marrying her male opposite, Wilhelm Lohmer, the original Master Man. The dictator envisioned Warrior Woman and Master Man breeding a new, superhuman Aryan race. However, Koenig found Lohmer repulsive, a testament to everything she hated about men. Their marriage was interrupted by Captain America and his allies, the Invaders. Warrior Woman and Master Man fought the Invaders on other occasions, sometimes at their leader’s insistence, and other times in concert with others, like Lady LotusSuper-Axis.

At the end of World War II, as the Third Reich’s defeat was imminent, Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker arranged for Koenig and her “husband,” to be placed in suspended animation in order to keep the dream of the Reich alive in the future. Warrior Woman was revived, and Axl Nacht, a new Master Man, sought to prove himself as her more ideal mate than Lohmer. The couple managed to escape after a conflict with Namor, the Sub-Mariner, Captain America, and Jim Hammond, the android Human Torch.

Warrior Woman, Julia Koenig, is currently at large. She has no known connection to “Warrior Woman” of the Fearless Defenders
