Xavi

History

Little is known about Xavi save for the fact that he is the first and only born child of  Lilandra Naramani and next in line to Rule over the Shi’ar Empire. His conception and his very existence were kept a secret from his father Charles Xavier due to the annulment of he and Lilandra’s marriage. 
 
 He was conceived when Cassandra Nova had commandeered the body of Charles Xavier making him a genetic son but complicating matters. He grew up a sheltered and pampered prince who dreamed of ruling the empire in the same way as dead uncle D’ken. 
 
After the Skrulls  and Shi’ar attacked the x-men Xavi is eventually driven mad by

Cassandra Nova who forces him to murder his own Mother, who was previously driven mad by Cassandra Nova as well.   Possessed by Cassandra he attempted to flee from the battle in hopes of her surviving the encounter with the x-men. He was stopped by a brood queen infected Aliya who killed him by running a blade through his abdomen. He died in a pool of his own blood.
 
With his death the only remaining heir to the shiar throne is Aliyah Bishop  his cousin.
 
Powers
he is suspected of having psionic powers but never displayed any.

Despite fan speculation to the contrary Xavi has never been shown to or suggested as having any telepathic, psionic or other mental based based powers. The panel in question shows him using a shiar holo-projector to project the image of him killing his mother NOT of his own generated abilities.
