Brief History
Yu-Ti the Hooded One is a title used by the various rulers of K’un-Lun. Besides, he is also known as The August Personage in Jade.
Lord Tuan was the ruler for most of the 20th century. He has been depicted as either the natural or adoptive father of Wendell Rand and thus grandfather of Iron Fist/Daniel Rand. He seems to have predeceased Wendell in unrevealed circumstances.
Appearances dating from Daniel’s childhood to modern times have Nu-An as Yu-Ti. He has been depicted as son of Tuan, brother of adoptive brother of Wendell and uncle to Daniel Rand. He is also one one of his nephew’s most stubborn enemies. Mostly because he fears deposition by him.
