Baze Malbus

Origin

Baze Malbus, a resilient and skilled warrior in the Star Wars universe, hailed from the arid world of Jedha. Born during the waning days of the Galactic Republic, Baze came of age during a tumultuous period as the galaxy was in the throes of political upheaval and the rise of the Galactic Empire. His path in life became intertwined with Chirrut Îmwe, a close friend and spiritual companion.

Baze’s journey into the path of a warrior began with his early training in the Guardians of the Whills, a spiritual organization devoted to the Force. Despite his initial connection to the Force and the Guardians’ teachings, he eventually grew disillusioned as the Empire’s oppression spread across Jedha, culminating in the construction of the Death Star.

The destruction of Jedha City left a deep scar on Baze’s heart, extinguishing his faith in the Force. He exchanged his spiritual pursuits for a heavy repeater cannon, becoming a formidable soldier in the struggle against the Empire. Baze’s fierce loyalty to Chirrut and their enduring friendship served as a testament to his unwavering commitment, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.

Baze Malbus’s origin is one marked by the loss of faith, the trials of war, and the enduring bonds of friendship that would ultimately lead him to join the brave group of rebels determined to steal the Death Star plans. His journey would play a vital role in the broader narrative of the Rebel Alliance’s fight against the oppressive Galactic Empire.
