Belldandy is a goddess who one has to grant the mortal Keiichi Morisato a wish.The mortal believing it is a prank wishes for someone like her to live with him.She is then forced to grant him the wish and she will stay with him at the Tariki Hongan Temple in the city of Nekomi, Chiba Prefecture near Tokyo. In time the two will develop feelings for each other.
