Benjamin Lindgren was a writer for Blaze Comics. He worked on the Astro Teens book until Booster Gold came to Metropolis. Then he switched to working on the Booster Gold Comic. He did not want to do so at first but Skip Andrew the Managing Editor of offered to double his pay. Things were going well for Benny until the 1000 found out he and Martin the artist on the Booster Gold book had information about Booster Gold. They were kidnapped by the 1000 and torture until they gave them all the information they had. Afterwards they were shot in the head and left for the police to find.
