Rose Roche was created by Karla Pacheco and Pere Pérez and debuted in Spider-Woman #14.
History
Origin
When Michael Marchand got the cure for his daughter Rebecca Marchand from Spider-Woman, he was unsure if the cure would work or if it was dangerous. So, he tested it on Rose, and it gave her pheromone powers, similar to Spider-Woman’s. The cure ended up being corrupted and Michael lost it and couldn’t help Rebecca. So, Rose sent criminals after Spider-Woman to get the cure.
Spider-Woman discovered that this had been because of Michael and confronted him, which led her to meeting Rose. Rose and Michael tried to convince Jessica to give them her original cure but she became suspicious of them and invaded Marchand Pharmaceuticals, where she was stopped by Rose and Michael, who attacked her and declared himself as Aeturnum, having gotten his own powers by testing the cure, combined with a serum, on himself.
Michael, growing weakened, told Rose to take care of Rebecca. Instead, Rose used her pheromones to overpower and mind-control Jessica into strapping herself, Rebecca, and Rebecca’s dog Marv into a plane. She then sent some criminals to Jessica’s apartment to get the cure.
Imprisonment
When Jessica and Rebecca went to Rose and Michael’s apartment in order to take them down, she and Michael were already there. They started fighting and the fight carried throughout the city. Rose mainly fought Rebecca and, when she stopped to observe Michael and Jessica’s fight, Rebecca was able to defeat her. Rose and Michael were arrested.
Powers
From the experiment with the cure, Rose gained pheromone powers. Her pheromones seemed to be very strong, as she was able to overpower Jessica. She has also displayed combat skills.
