This series had him facing desperados, saving lives and working to make end’s meat. It made a point of featuring his basic values: loyalty, honesty and a belief in hard work. The character was created by George Storm and had similarities to the earlier Philip Hardy, another 15-year-old adventurer. It was not a coincidence. Storm had been one of Hardy’s co-creators.
There were reprints of the comic strip in “All-American Comics”. It was dropped from the schedule to be replaced by Gary Concord.
