When Captain Javier Aquirre, the youngest commander of the Spanish merchant fleet, refuses to command a war ship for Carlos Fernando, the dictator like governor of Catalonia, who in retaliation for his refusal has his ship with all on board destroyed by his other war ships.
Only Aguirre and his first mate Schiffsjunge Chico survive, escaping to the pirate island of Ibiza he and Chico become freebooters and raise the most ruthless crew ever seen, as he seeks revenge as Capitan Terror.
