Captain Aero

Origin

Captain Aero was one of the many pilot heroes that appeared during World War II. He was a clear eyed, stalwart, gung-ho, two-fisted American flying ace who fought in the Pacific and Europe, and was helped by his friend Buster and his sidekick Chop Suey.

His catch phrase was “Thumbs Up!”

The only thing that set him apart from all the other flying heroes was that his airplane was unique and he could use the propeller to saw though things such as the wings of other planes or the roofs of buildings so he could get at those hiding inside.

As a real world note his adventures fighting in the Pacific began in October or 1941, two months before the attack on Pearl Harbor.
