A monster of a man, Chance was a member of the Great Khans gang who displayed expertise with close combat weapons, particularly favoring his combat knife (which can be obtained from Chance’s grave near the tribal village in Fallout New Vegas). Accompanying McMurphy, Jessup and the Chairman Benny, the memory of Bitter springs would come back to haunt Chance when the quartet stumbled across a fiend raid on the Tribal Village, with the sight of massacred women and children driving Chance into a chem-driven frenzy. Jumping into the fray, Chance sliced apart the fiends with his knife, shrugging off the lethal attacks of the fiends. However, the Khan would later succumb to his wounds, with Jessup and McMurphy burying their comrade near the Tribal Village.
