Inspector Wade is a character created by writer Edgar Wallace in the novel The Feathered Serpent (1927). From 1935 to 1941, the character was adapted into a newspaper strip by the King Features Syndicate, the strip was written by Sheldon Stark and illustrated by Lyman Anderson and Neil O’Keeffe.
