A friend of Medaka Kuroiwa and a big fan of the school idol Mona Kawai, though also a big fan of girls in general. Shou often comes across as conceited and high-strung, but he is generally bright and friendly when dealing with the opposite sex.
The usual bearer of his wrath is monk-in-training Medaka, whose upbringing means he lacks much interest in women, or common sense in dealing with them. This is a frequent source of frustation for Shou, but is further exacerbated by Medaka’s odd popularity with girls.
He’s often seen with Medaka and his mutual friend Yuzuru, who shares Shou’s interest in girls, but has a much calmer personality.
