Vittorio, also known as Victorio, was an Apache chief of the Chihenne tribe. His exact date of birth is unclear, but it is estimated that he was born around 1825. Victorio became a respected leader and courageous warrior during the era when the Apaches fought against American expansion in the South -Western United States.
