Bad Blood

After causing a bunch of trouble in Atlanta, R’ym’r was chased up the coast by Blade and his daughter, Bloodline. When he made it to New York City, he made a home in the subway and started siring drones for him to feed, including a superhuman speedster, Hightail. Blade recruited Miles Morales as their local contact. Together, they tracked down R’ym’r and magically locked him in a reliquary.

Blood Hunt

When the vampire cult, The Structure, filled the sky with darkforce energy as part of their plan for world domination, R’ym’r’s vampire drones were able to scour the city for the relic he had been trapped in. His underlings were able to free just as Hightail, Bloodline, and a now vampiric Miles Morales tracked them down. He was forced to fight the trio, who had a new edge thanks to Miles’ vampire strength.

Hightail was able to quickly reassemble the relic while Bloodline recites the incantation locking him away yet again. Dracula, who was helping the Avengers with the crisis, then cast a spell that exiled the relic to a location where it would never be located.
