Da Bomb was at a charity ball game where he laid eyes on Power Girl and became obsessed with her. He was convinced he was an alpha male and the only suitable partner for her. He was given a five year sentence at Blackgate for assault and armed robbery, but Da Bomb escaped Blackgate to meet Power Girl.
