Akka was created by Paul Levitz and Francis Portela.
Character Evolution
Akka believed in survival of the fittest, pledging herself to the powerful Saturn Queen while also killing in cold blood the more weak Micro Lad as she joined the Legion of Super-Villains.

Saturn Queen later betrayed her loyalty by killing Akka with her own blade as a sacrifice to empower Hunter.
