Parquita is José Carioca‘s girlfriend, she is a teacher and daughter of Senhor Valores, owner of a restaurant in Rio de Janeiro.
Creation
Parquita debuted in 2023 in the Dutch comic book Donald Duck, she looks like Maria Vaz, José Carioca’s girlfriend in the first newspaper strips and in the stories produced in Brazil published in the comic books Zé Carioca and Aventuras Disney, the Dutch stories follow a chronology different from the stories produced in Brazil.
