Creation
Louise was created by Benjamin Percy and Adam Kubert, and first appeared in Wolverine (2020) #1. She later took up the mantle Nightguard in Blood Hunt.
Major Story Arcs
Following her transformation into a vampire, Wolverine spared Louise’s life and sent her to Sevalith to learn how to master her powers under the tutelage of the vampyrs of Otherworld.
Blood Hunt
When Darkforce users covered the skies and vampires of The Structure attacked humans en masse, Louise (now going by Nightguard) joined forces with Wolverine to battle the leader of the Siren Sect, Alyssa, and her new plaything Maverick. The duo fought countless vampires sent by Maverick to “test” Logan as a viable condidate for vampirism, although Alyssa wanted Logan for her new king. Nightguard was underestimated by the two, and used her friendship with Wolverine to break him free of Alyssa’s influence and stake Alyssa, dusting her. Louise and Logan share one last kiss before she departs Earth for Sevalith once more.
