Character Evolution
While Diana only appears in a few issues, the change of artists seems mean a change in appearance as well, as she goes from an attractive girl with black hair to troll-looking girl with red hair.
Major Story Arcs
A short time after the New Mutants‘ battle with Sentinels at the Salem Center Mall, Diana goes with some other students to shop while it is being rebuilt. The students run into the New Mutants and Diana meets Amara. She mistakes Amara’s hometown of Rome to mean Rome, New York.
