Doc Static is a friend of Mickey Mouse and an inventor who tests various of his inventions on Mickey. Often granting Mickey super-powers. Stories often parody existing characters. For example “Plastic Mickey!” (1995) effectively gives Mickey the powers of Plastic man while “Spider-Mouse” (2003) has Mickey bitten by a spider and turning to an eight-legged superhero, parodying Spider-Man.
