Dr. Briefs is the founder of the global juggernaut Capsule Corporation, and spends the majority of his time in his large home in West City. Where he shares his home with his wife Mrs. Brief and his daughter Bulma. He is responsible for modifying the spaceship Bulma, Krillin and Gohan use on their journey to the Planet Namek, in a search for the Dragon Balls. He also creates Goku his own space ship to journey to Namek, while allowing the Sayian to train in preparations for the battles he’ll face once he arrives.Following the return of the fighters and in preparation for the battle with the Androids, Vegeta forces him into creating him a ship to allow him to train under 300x Earth’s gravity,which he reluctantly complies with. He later is essential in repairing the damaged Android 16 in preparation for the Cell Games, alongside his daughter. However after this his importance is diminished, and he is later killed along with most of the Earth by Buu, however he is brought back to life by the Dragon Balls.
