Elton Blake is a well connected man who was confronted by Nick Fury Jr. Nick Fury Jr. was disguising himself as Moon Knight while looking for Elton because he had recently faked his death and he believed Elton knew about a hidden threat within S.H.I.E.L.D. due to Mr. Blake donating to S.H.I.E.L.D. along with A.I.M., Hydra and other powerful groups.
Turns out Blake was paying the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents that attempted to kill Nick Fury Jr. in stocks and he felt he was justified in it to help S.H.I.E.L.D. an that Fury would be the organization’s downfall. After feeling that the plans in motion couldn’t be stopped Blake willingly told Fury where his leader resided and then proceeded to step off the roof of the building they were speaking on, killing himself.
