Overview
Ervulsh is one of the most powerful members of his race due to the fact that he sits on House Sinister’s High Council. Positions on this council are fought for and only seat the most powerful. His name is derived from the word revulsion and this word is supposed to govern his personality. This seems accurate as Ervulsh is one of the few members of the First who chooses not to make his physical appearance attractive because that is simply “not who he is”. Although Ervulsh serves on House Sinisters Council, he also rules a planet so far from the center of the universe that very little universal energy could be accessed here. However, he had developed an intricate webbing system that drained power from this planet directly to him, making it difficult for him to be defeated if other members of the First attempted to fight him there. Ervulsh was first seen in the series when he and the rest of the council give a portion of their power to Ingra in order to further her latest plot. Ervulsh later helped Orium, Seahn, and Braag when he agreed to keep Ingra captive on his planet so that Ingra could not quickly regain her power. When Ingra questioned why he had helped to overthrow her, Ervulsh professed that he only agreed because he was in love with Ingra and simply wanted her to become his queen. Ingra went along with this idea in order to tap into Ervulsh’s power supply, restoring a portion of her own power. When Pyrem came to rescue Ingra, Ingra used what little power she had stolen from Ervulsh in an attempt to quickly defeat him and escape, however she pitied the fact that he was not as powerful as she originally suspected. This threw Ervulsh into a frenzy and he angrily tried to kill Ingra by feeding on her in a manner similar to that of a spider. Pyrem intervened just in time and began a fight with Ervulsh. The two struggled for a bit, but Ervulsh was soon over powered and Pyrem took Ingra back to House Dexter. Ervulsh was later seen when Seahn defeats the Sinister Council members in order to secure his seat in the leader’s position. Ervulsh was easily defeated by Seahn due to the fact that he was still recovering from his previous battle with Pyrem. Ervulsh was not seen again before the series was abruptly canceled, due to Crossgen filing for bankruptcy.
