Firebolt was hired by Roxxon Oil to sabotage Project :PEGASUS by posing as a hero. He was hired as the new security director but was revealed to be a villain when he tried to kill one of the doctors. Blue Shield stopped him. During their struggle Firebolt accidently incinerated himself.
