Game Master resides in an alternate dimension, an arena, where he summons a set of warriors each time, and absorbs them into the ruby pendent of his when someone loses. In doing so, he acquires their powers and abilities. Even when he is defeated, he appears to repeat the sequence with another set of heroes. The ruby appears impervious to damage, but when attacked with an explosive arrow that went in to the pandent, it reacted by releasing everyone trapped inside, and the Game Master exploded, saying he lost.
However he appears again, on his throne, rehosting the same tournament. The pendent has teleportational abilities. Holding it supposedly gives the user the ability to teleport to anywhere he/she wants, but NOT with the pandant. It stays behind. Game Master is also able to summon the participants using the pandant.
