Origin
The current leader of Kata Jaya, Jalak Awa inherited the role from his father after interference from the United States of America. As a youth Awa studied at the University of Hawaii, although he was a poor academic with a record of truancy.

General Awa is a Marvel comic book character, created by Daniel Way and Steve Dillion.

No powers or abilities that exceed those of a natural human, General Awa uses his political and military power to accomplish his goals.
