Egeus is in charge of the 25,000 Black Knights who are sent by Magus after Warlock, Thanos, Gamora and Pip.
He wonders why Magus mobilizes so many troops against four unarmed strangers, thinking that he must be “cracking up”, but soon realizes that he has to deal with very powerful entities.
After reporting his failure and that he saw Thanos helping Warlock, Magus decides to take the lead of the Black Knights.
