General Kozar

General Kozar was an influential military officer in a monarchy. He was ambitious enough to plan on using his troops against the king. Even if it meant entering a civil war with other military factions. Yet, he did not dare to act yet. In sleep he was plagued by nightmares of being defeated and killed in action. He had to somewhow face his fear. When he heard of a local gypsy sorcerer, Kozar thought the answer to his problem had been found.  
 
He summoned the unnamed sorcerer to a private meeting. He wanted two different kinds of spell. First to defeat all his fears and fill him with courage. Then to ensure his safety in battle. He promised to reward the sorcerer in exchange for his help. But the man was actually disgusted with him. Kozar switched to threatening the sorcerer with persecution of every gypsy in the country, unless the old man obeyed.  
 
The sorcerer appeared to agree and started weaving a spell. He indeed turned Kozar to a soldier with no fear of death. But no other emotion or thought as well. Kozar was left a mere toy soldier.
