Alkhema

Origin

Alkhema is the second robotic consort Ultron has created for himself, the first being Jocasta, who had turned on him, rejecting him. This second attempt at a robotic bride has the brain patterns of Bobbi Morse also known as the Avenger Mockingbird. Ultron would abduct his own creator Hank Pym, Mockingbird and the inventor of adamantium Myron MacLain to create Alkhema. Although personality aspects of Mockingbird were not intended to carry over, Ultron was bothered by some of Alkhema’s behavioral traits and sense of humor, aspects carried over from her use of Mockingbird’s brain waves but also distorted as well lacking Mockingbird’s experiences.

Creation

Alkhema is a Marvel comics character and was created by Roy and Dann Thomas, David Ross, and Tim Dzon, and first appeared in Avengers West Coast #90, released in January 1993.

Creation

She has the personality and speech patterns of Mockingbird without the memories of the Avenger or the emotions associated with them. Ultron programmed her to seek the death of all organic life on Earth. However, Alkhema is a sadist and prefers taking the time to torment and kill an individual. She does not particularly enjoy mass slaughters and parted ways with Ultron because of this argument.

Alkhema-2

After a recent defeat of Ultron, an upgraded version calling herself Alkhema-2 salvaged copies of the brain patterns of the Scarlet Witch, Hank Pym, Vision, Wonder Man, the Wasp and the Grim Reaper. She used those copies as templates to build a race of Robos. A battle between her, Ultron and the Avengers. She reportedly committed suicide in “Avengers: The Ultron Imperative” in order to begin the self-destruct sequence in the robos. However she could presumably transfer her consciousness to another body, as Ultron has done before.

Powers and Abilities

Like Ultron, Alkhema is composed of adamantium and is virtually indestructible. She has superhuman strength, able to lift about 90 tons. She fires energy beams from weapons placed in her head and shoulders. She can electrify the surface of her armor and electrocute opponents who dare touch her. Jet thrusters built within her boots allow her to fly.
