Ace Barlow witnessed the death of his parents, who got shot in a drive-by shooting. After this Ace joins Dart as his sidekick Amazing Boy. He is able to fly just like Dart and he wields a baseball bat in crimefighting.
Ace was transported with his ward Dart sixty years when they were captured by Fighting Yank and the Urn of Pandora. When he was finally released he found that not only had time changed but that many of the people who were captured in the Urn changed mentally and physically. Many gained new powers.
