Adam is, according to the Creation story of the Abrahamic religions, the first man created by God on Earth, made of clay, on which he breathed the breath of life, as he relates the biblical story. The Qur’an named him as the first of the Prophets. The Bahá’í Faith sees Adam as the first “Messenger of God”.
He is also the mate of Eve.
