Initially he was the mentor of the Republic pilot Carth Onasi. He is responsible for the destruction of Carth Onasi’s home-world, Telos, sparking a life-long vendetta between the two. When Revan and his group reach Malak‘s ship, the Leviathan, Carth and Saul confront each other once more, resulting in Saul’s death.
