Agatha Timly was a practitioner of black magic who kidnapped Jack Russell in an attempt to obtain the legendary mystical tome known as the Darkhold in order to perform an occult ritual to summon ancient gods. When Russell escaped, she attempted to perform the ritual without the Darkhold; the failure of the ceremony caused her to suffer a fatal heart attack.
