Akhar Nun is a Master of the Night who chose the oceans as his territory. He and his crew sail aboard the Akron round the seas of the entire world. He may look brutal, but he possesses a noble heart and never got over the death of Miranda Cross, a woman he loved in the 18th century. He also wanted to give her a son, but would have borne a Dampyr, and he was never able to overcome the fear of that and the eventual retaliation of the other Masters, which could have killed his family and sentence him to eternal suffering.
