Albert Grancourt grew up with Pierre Lafonde. Albert was a wealthy and Pierre was not. Despite their fathers being friends the two boys didn’t like each other much.  After time the two grew up and got into a deal over a mine that left Pierre furious with Albert. After time Albert had a wife and four children. He lost every one them including his nine year old daughter and two babies to shotgun blasts. After seeing the babies Albert jumps off a cliff and drowns himself.

Pireere had gotten his revenge by killing Ailbert’s wife and kids. Once Albert had killed himself Pireere chose to do the same. He left a note saying “This ends my vengeance”, “my work here is done.”
