Alchemoid

Origin

Alchemoid was created by the Druid and trained to become unbeatable. Alchemoid was a humanoid being made up of alchemical energies and his body was covered by oily ooze that could burn through various materials. The Druid abducted Captain America and placed him in a giant maze filled with various death traps. The Druid set Alchemoid against Captain America inside the maze. Captain America realized that various constructs in the maze were acting as external boosters for Alchemoid’s power. Captain America stood in front of one of the external boosters while Alchemoid blasted a ray from his right hand. Captain was able to dodge the attack and manipulated Alchemoid into destroying his own power feed stations. The Druid then increased Alchemoid to full power but the power intake overload was too much and Alchemoid was destroyed. 

Creation

Alchemoid was created by John Warner and Frank Robbins in 1975 and first appeared in Captain America # 187.

Powers & Abilities

Alchemoid was a humanoid being made up of alchemical energies and his body was covered by oily ooze that could burn through various materials. He also has superhuman strength and durability. Alchemoid had the ability to shoot energy rays from his hands for ranged attacks.
