Alexander “Alex” Cabot III is the manager of the Pussycats and sibling to Alexandra Cabot. Alex was introduced in the Josie series prior to the formation of the Pussycats as a local rich boy who was romantically interested in Josie McCoy and Melody Valentine. Snobbish and vain, Alex was typically turned down in spectacular fashion. When the series shifted to “Josie and the Pussycats”, Alex was shifted to the manager of the group. Shrewd on occasion but typically no match in a battle of wits with Valerie, Alexandra or Josie. Josie still ignored his romantic advances in favor of Alan M., a working class but more athletic boy.
