Melissa used Alfredo as a pawn to fool Squirrel Girl into thinking she actually conversed with animals and that they were friends. However in reality Alfredo was to be nothing more than her dinner. She ordered Chef Bear to cook Alfredo but he was able to fight Chef Bear off long enough for the two of them to speak with a lawyer and work out their problems.
