Origin
Back in Ireland in 1959, Margaret Monaghan realized something was wrong with her baby, Alice, and asked her husband to get help. He got Hellboy, who comes to the couple’s house and listened to Margaret’s story about how her baby laughed at her and told her “Terrible things.” It doesn’t take Hellboy long to learn that Alice had been kidnapped by the Daoine Sidhe and replaced with a Fae. He then promises the parents to return little Alice.
Hellboy then goes on quest to bring the real Alice home. He makes a deal with the Daoine Sidhe to return Alice if he can return the corpse to Kill-Breedya. Along the way he fights Fae and monsters, such as Gruagach of Lough Leane, Jenny Greenteeth, and others. Once at Kill-Breedya, Hellboy meets with Dagda, King of the Daoine Sidhe.
Dagda honors the deal and returns Alice unharmed back to Hellboy, but not before asking to keep her and make her fae like them, which Hellboy doesn’t even consider. Hellboy then returns Alice to her parents.
