Origin
An Apache born in Cambria, California, John Edward Jones, or Altitude, grew up drawing. When the syndicated cartoon industry fell,
Altitude used his skill of a photographic memory for the military, being able to draw anything he saw on a recon mission.
Creation
His action figure was originally released in 1990 but didn’t get included in a comic until 2003 when writers Brandon Jerwa and Josh Blaylock brought him out (just before the series with Image ended).
