Alvarez was a member of an I.O. covert ops team dedicated to capturing renegade Gen-actives. During a mission to seize Gen 13, she was captured by Sarah Rainmaker. Sarah wiped out the rest of Alvarez’s team, but spared her.
Years later, Alvarez, working as an independent information broker, provided Sarah and Gen 13 with information about Anna’s past using her old sources and contacts.
