Amino Fetus is stated to be an organism undergoing four stages of a repetitive life-cycle. In the darkness of space, it begins as the Abominable Germ, a cursed creature representing a subversion of the life-force. As it stumbles out into the light, it grows into the Accursed Embryo, and seeks out a master who can nurture and monitor its growth. Over time and under its master’s care, it grows into the Amino Fetus, and at this critical stage the master must ensure that Amino Fetus cannot feed anymore, for feeding will allow the Amino Fetus to reach the final stage of its life-cycle – hatching into the Accursed Infants, a plague of monstrous child-like creatures who feed on the strands of time, bringing the universe to its end.
Should the Amino Fetus feed, its master may prevent the infants from consuming the universe by throwing them into the gravity well of a black hole, where over time they will eventually reform as the Abominable Germ, beginning the life-cycle again.
Aside from the life-cycle, Amino Fetus also possesses the power to cancel out mutant abilities in his vicinity.
