Hakk joined the L.E.G.I.O.N. R.E.C.R.U.I.T.S. and served admirably in that group.
When Lyrl Dox took over the organization, Hakk was one of those who fell under his control, until he was eventually freed by Captain Comet and Vril Dox’s R.E.B.E.L.S. group. Afterward, Hakk and his fellow R.E.C.R.U.I.T.S. all graduated into L.E.G.I.O.N.
Years later, Vril Dox tricked Hakk into joining his new R.E.B.E.L.S. group in their fight against Starro.
