Origin
Amy May Ames was a vlogger specializing in true crime and conspiracies. Her Youtube channel had gained just over 500,000 viewers before she announced she was going to investigate a strange cult called The Sisterhood of Lilith. Not one to be content with a Google search, as it found very little on the mysterious organization, she did the leg work, talking to people at occult bookstores and other places that might know about these things. This lead her to Jill Morgan a Christian fundamentalist claiming to be an ex-member. Morgan weaved a crazy tale about them trying to control the world, women birthing demonic children at incredibly fast rates and how she herself had given birth to several of them. While Amy found this fascinating, she also thought it was a load of rubbish. That didn’t mean she wouldn’t check it out.
Amy paid several visits to the so called Breeder Mansion. She did see a lot of women coming and going, but saw nothing that suggested human trafficking, witchcraft or anything of that nature. Maybe it was some kind of brothel masquerading as a religion. What she did note was the inordinate amount of women in scrubs going in and out. Something was going on.
When she got back home she got a phone call offering her a job as an anchor on a local Chicago station. The job offered good money, more than her Youtube channel and while she would be able to keep her channel the station would get first look at any investigative projects she was working on. It was also implies the station frowned upon conspiracy investigations such the one she was doing with The Sisterhood of Lilith. She was a real reporter now and if no one is drinking poisoned Kool-Aid or the ATF isn’t busting through their doors, an investigation into a “magic cult” was a tabloid level story. Amy dropped the SOL story and started her new job that week.
Powers and Abilities
Amy is very smart and beautiful. A sharp business woman and proficient investigator, Amy understands social media algorithms and uses her beauty and charisma to make them work for her. She also has no problem throwing herself into dangerous situations and has tons of recording and spy devices to catch people doing their devious deeds.
Appearances
Amy appeared in the original versions of several books giving the same report about Loren Talbane’s private jet exploding on take off. She also appears as an NPC in the Blastback Role Playing Game.
