Anne Marais is the owner of the “libre-pensée”, an anarchist library in Paris that she inherited from Victor, to whom she is very attached. She came to Paris many years ago as a young mother and raised her daughter, Angélique Marais, on her own. She is a close friend of Harlan Draka and always tries to help him in the limits of her capabilities.
