Apeslayer was the first original Marvel UK character. He was created when the company run out of Planet of the Apes reprint material from the US, so they repurposed some Killraven issues to create Apeslayer, replacing some names and redrawing the martians as ape aliens from Mars.
He is an alternate universe version of Killraven.
