Apple Bloom is a young pony featured in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. She is pale yellow, with a bright red mane and tail, and wears a large bow. She does not yet have a cutie mark.
She is a member of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, a band of young ponies who have not yet earned cutie marks. Her best friends are fellow Cutie Mark Crusaders Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle.
Apple Bloom is Applejack and Big Machintosh’s younger sister. She helps her family with farm chores.
Applebloom is often seen as the leader of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, though they each have their moments of insight and ideas. When they finally get their Cutie Marks, Applebloom’s is an apple inside a heart. When not hanging out with her friends, Applebloom discovered she enjoyed dancing, and says she might keep doing it, since it’s fun and she believes she can only get better.
Applebloom is very close with her sister Applejack, though she also views their brother Big Mac as a hero (though she doesn’t admit it much). She looks up to her Granny Smith, even though the old pony can be a tad bit embarrassing at times.
Future
In the series finale of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, the Cutie Mark Crusaders are shown to be all grown up, and are teachers at the School of Friendship.
