April, May and June was created by Carl Barks in the comic story Flip Decision (1952).

- April, May and June made their first animated appearance in the House of Mouse episode Ladie’s Night.
- In DuckTales 2017 series episode The Last Adventure!, it was revealed that Webby is actually April, the first clone of Uncle Scrooge and that May and June would also be clones, this connection comes from the fact that in the Netherlands, April and Webby have the same name: Lizzy.
- April, May and June appears in the series Legend of the Three Caballeros.
