April Chiang was one of the Magi. She fell in love with a last dragon that the order captured. She set him free and escaped with him. They made their life together, and had a child, Aaron. Wei‘s enemies came for him, and April was forced to left her husband behind, while she ran with their baby.
Years later, she was raising Aaron alone in America. She told Aaron stories about dragons regularly, preparing him for his future.
